Conciliation service and legal strategy
We support an independent Disability
Conciliation Service and aim to use our statutory powers to maximum effect.
Advisory groups
Our advisory groups help us make sure disabled
people have a proper say in what we do. We have a Learning Disability Action Group and a
Mental Health Action Group .

Leadership Strategy
Our Leadership Strategy endeavours to
significantly enhance the participation of disabled people in
senior positions, having particular regard to community and public

Disability Equality Scheme
The Disability Rights Commission’s Disability Equality Scheme sets out how we
propose to fulfil the general and specific duties of the Disability
Discrimination Act 2005.
